Days: Friday-Sunday
Hours: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Compensation: $35 to $50 per hour
Start Date: June 30, 2026 – July 29, 2026
A private household in Bridgehampton, NY is seeking a temporary weekend Housekeeper / Household Assistant to support the home during the summer season. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is neat, organized, hardworking, and comfortable assisting with meal service, household upkeep, guest support, and evening turndown service.
The ideal candidate will have basic food prep knowledge, a flexible attitude, and the ability to help keep the home running smoothly during busy weekends. There is a dog in the home.
Main Work Duties:
- Assist with light food preparation, meal service, and cleanup for approximately 6–12 people.
- Support Saturday dinner service, including preparation, serving, clearing, and kitchen reset.
- Maintain common living areas in a clean, organized, and guest-ready condition.
- Keep pool areas tidy, refreshed, and well-presented throughout the day.
- Provide evening bedroom turndown service.
- Assist with dishes, dining room setup, and resetting kitchen areas as needed.
- Help with general household tasks and remain flexible during busy household weekends.

- Basic knowledge of food preparation and meal service.
- Comfortable working in a private household environment.

- Able to work long weekend hours during the temporary assignment.

- Must have knowledge about hotel turndown services.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of solid housekeeping experience in a large private home.
- Knowledge of hotel turndown services.
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Must speak and communicate well in English.
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
