A private family in Great Falls, VA is seeking a professional, experienced, and highly reliable Private Chauffeur to provide safe, timely, and discreet transportation for the family. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, strong knowledge of the local area, and the ability to anticipate the family’s needs while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Main Work Duties:
- Provide safe and timely transportation for the family by driving to various destinations as required.
- Transport family members to appointments, meetings, school, errands, airports, events, and other scheduled activities.
- Plan routes in advance and monitor traffic, weather, and road conditions to ensure timely arrivals.
- Maintain a calm, professional, and discreet presence at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, stocked, and in excellent working condition.
- Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, detailing, and repairs as needed.
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage, packages, groceries, and personal belongings.
- Run errands efficiently, including pickups, deliveries, dry cleaning, shopping, and other household-related tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding the family’s schedule, residence, conversations, and personal matters.
- Communicate professionally with the family, household staff, vendors, and other service providers.
- Remain flexible and composed when handling last-minute changes, delays, or unexpected circumstances.
Required Qualities:
- Highly punctual, dependable, and organized.
- Professional, discreet, accommodating, and confident in appearance and demeanor.
- Immaculately groomed with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong planning, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Calm and composed during traffic delays, schedule changes, or unexpected situations.
- Able to anticipate the family’s needs and respond professionally to questions or concerns.
- Trustworthy, respectful, and committed to maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
- Strong knowledge of professional driving etiquette and safe driving practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of chauffeur experience with a private family.
- Prior experience driving private families, executives, or high-profile individuals strongly preferred.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- In-depth knowledge of Great Falls, Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, major airports, and surrounding areas.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
- Previous law enforcement experience is not required but is a plus.
- Security training, first aid training, and/or tactical or defensive driving training is a plus.
- Must be able to lift more than 25 pounds.
- Must speak and communicate proficiently in English.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
