PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CAREGIVER POSITION. THIS IS A MANAGER AND PERSONAL ASSISTANT POSITION.
Position Details: Part Time, On-Call for Emergencies.
Location: Greenwich, CT.
Day: Monday-Friday.
Time: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM.
Compensation: $50-$60 per hour.
Additional Benefits: 1 week paid vacation, all major holidays off, 10% bonus after the first full year.
Start Date: 4/20/2026.
A private household in Greenwich, CT is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and compassionate Caregiver Manager / Home Care Coordinator to support a young woman living with a chronic illness who requires 24/7 care in her home.
This role is ideal for a Personal Assistant with private home experience who is proactive, discreet, resourceful, and able to manage caregiver staffing, coordinate with medical professionals, and day-to-day support with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage caregiver schedules to ensure full coverage at all times.
- Recruit caregivers by posting jobs, refreshing ads, and exploring additional hiring channels.
- Screen, interview, and help onboard new caregivers.
- Create and communicate caregiver schedules, both digitally and in print.
- Oversee caregivers, provide feedback, and help maintain consistency of care.
- Update caregiving manuals and training materials as needed.
- Prepare payroll every other week, including reviewing timecards and verifying hours.
- Manage prescriptions and ensure medications are filled and taken correctly.
- Coordinate with medical providers, including doctor’s offices and IV nurses.
- Arrange medical testing and follow up on related logistics.
- Submit medical bills to insurance and follow up on required documentation.
- Order care supplies, food, household items, and testing supplies.
- Assist with correspondence, personal shopping, and scheduling household maintenance.
- Maintain daily notes, tasks, and close communication with the patient, house manager, and parents.
Required Qualities:
- Strong computer skills and comfort posting jobs online.

- Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive matters professionally.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
- No recreational drug use.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working in a private home environment.
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Valid Driver's license, reliable transportation and clean driving record.
