A private household in Greenwich, CT, is seeking a reliable and energetic Live-In Weekend Housekeeper / Pet Caretaker to help maintain the home and provide attentive care for the family’s two large Goldendoodles. The ideal candidate is very comfortable with large dogs, able to balance both housekeeping and pet-care responsibilities, and has experience working in a high-end private residence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain the home in a clean, tidy, and well-organized condition throughout the weekend.
- Clean and reset bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas as needed.
- Clean up after the dogs and keep pet areas neat and sanitary.
- Feed, walk, supervise, and play with the dogs on the property.
- Monitor the dogs’ general well-being and routines throughout the weekend.
- Assist with light household upkeep and ensure the residence remains guest-ready.
- Handle both housekeeping and pet-care responsibilities independently and efficiently.
Qualifications & Required Qualities:
- Previous experience working in a high-end or formal private home.
- Strong housekeeping and organizational skills.
- Very comfortable handling and caring for large dogs.
- Energetic, active, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and attentive to detail.
- Comfortable working independently in a live-in weekend role.
- Strong professional references.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
