Live-In Accommodation: Private room
Location: Scarsdale, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, with occasional late evenings when the mother is traveling for work, approximately one night every other week, as well as occasional date nights
Compensation: $30–$35 per hour
Additional Benefits: All federal holidays off

A private family in Scarsdale, NY, is seeking a warm, patient, and experienced Live-In Nanny to provide attentive care for their children and support their daily routines. The ideal candidate is nurturing, dependable, highly organized, and an excellent driver who is comfortable managing school schedules, meals, naps, activities, playdates, and evening routines.
The family is looking for someone who will build a loving, long-term relationship with the children while providing consistent structure, care, and support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Get the children ready for school and ensure they are prepared and on time.
- Drive children to and from school, activities, appointments, and playdates.
- Complete grocery shopping related to the children’s meals and needs.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Feed lunch and dinner and assist with mealtime routines.
- Put the younger child down for naps and maintain a consistent nap routine.
- Provide attentive care and supervision for the older child.
- Plan and support age-appropriate activities and playdates.
- Manage after-school routines and transitions.
- Assist with bath time and evening routines.
- Provide occasional late-evening coverage when the mother is traveling for work.
- Assist with occasional date-night childcare.
- Keep children’s belongings, meals, and daily needs organized.
Cooking Requirement:
Cooking is required. The nanny should be comfortable preparing healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks.
Qualifications & Required Qualities:
- Previous professional nanny experience.
- Kind, warm, patient, and nurturing personality.
- Strong understanding of children’s routines and developmental needs.
- Excellent and confident driver.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Comfortable preparing meals and snacks for children.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple schedules.
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Flexible with occasional late evenings.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong professional references.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
