Position Details: Full-Time, Live-Out
Location: Granite Springs, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
Hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with flexibility required. On occasion, the workday may begin later than 8:00 AM and end later than 4:00 PM.

Compensation: $40–$45 per hour, W2 (On the books)

A private household in Granite Springs, NY, is seeking an experienced and dependable full-time Housekeeper/Cook. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a formal private residence and will be comfortable managing detailed housekeeping, laundry, ironing, meal preparation, errands, and the proper care of fine furnishings, artwork, and antiques.

This position is well suited for a detail-oriented, organized, and flexible professional who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully cared-for home and works well as part of a household team.

Main Responsibilities:

Perform detailed daily and routine housekeeping throughout the residence.
Maintain the home to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and organization.
Handle household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and proper storage.
Prepare family dinners and other meals as requested.
Follow recipes and accommodate the household’s preferences.
Run household errands, including grocery shopping and other local pickups.
Properly clean and care for fine furniture, artwork, antiques, and specialty surfaces.
Maintain household supplies and notify the appropriate person when items need to be restocked.
Work cooperatively with other household staff and assist wherever needed.
Adapt to occasional changes in the daily schedule.

Cooking Requirements:

Cooking is required, primarily for family dinners. Formal culinary training is not necessary; however, the candidate should genuinely enjoy cooking, be confident in the kitchen, prepare appealing home-style meals, and follow recipes accurately.

Required Qualifications and Qualities:

Previous experience working in a formal private household.
Strong housekeeping, laundry, and ironing skills.
Confident home-cooking ability and the ability to follow recipes.
Experience caring for fine furniture, artwork, antiques, and delicate surfaces.
