A private household in Washington, DC, is seeking a dependable, kind, and flexible Part-Time Housekeeper to assist with light housekeeping, laundry, pet care, and occasional cooking. The ideal candidate is hardworking, friendly, and comfortable helping wherever needed to keep the home running smoothly.
Occasional overnight stays may be requested to provide care for the household pets (3 dogs, 1 cat).
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform light housekeeping and general household upkeep.
- Handle household laundry and basic linen care.
- Assist with pet care, including feeding and general supervision.
- Provide occasional help with simple meal preparation.
- Help keep the home neat, organized, and comfortable.
- Assist with additional household tasks as needed.
- Occasionally stay overnight to care for the household pets.
Qualifications & Required Qualities:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
- Friendly, kind, and professional demeanor.
- Hardworking, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of household responsibilities.
- Comfortable caring for pets.
- Comfortable with occasional overnight stays.
- Able to work independently and follow household preferences.

- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Cooking Requirement:
Cooking is required occasionally. The candidate should be comfortable preparing simple meals when needed.
