A private family in Rye, NY is seeking an experienced, polished, and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join their established household team. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has experience working in a high-end private home, estate, or luxury residence and understands the standards, discretion, and teamwork required in a formal household environment. There's a dog in the home.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the home to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
- Perform detailed daily, weekly, and seasonal housekeeping tasks.
- Care for fine furnishings, artwork, antiques, luxury finishes, and specialty surfaces using proper techniques.
- Handle laundry, ironing, steaming, wardrobe care, and proper clothing storage.
- Change bed linens and maintain bedrooms and guest rooms.
- Organize closets, pantries, storage areas, and household inventories.
- Assist with entertaining preparation and post-event cleanup.
- Work collaboratively with other household staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow household systems, routines, and standards set by the team.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family and residence.
- Occasionally provide housekeeping support at the family’s Manhattan residence.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of housekeeping experience in a private home, luxury residence, estate, or similar environment.
- Experience working in UHNW homes is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience working as part of a housekeeping team is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a professional household team.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
- Absolute discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to Westchester County.
- English and Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
