Compensation: $35–$40 per hour, Paid via W2 (on the books)

A private family office in Scarsdale, NY is seeking a highly responsible, organized, and proactive Personal Assistant / Family Office Assistant to support daily personal, household, and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, has strong critical-thinking skills, and can represent the principal professionally when communicating with vendors, service providers, and other contacts. Must be comfortable with both domestic and international travel as needed. There are 5 cats in the home.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day personal, household, and administrative tasks
- Respond to messages and emails in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate with vendors, service providers, household staff, and other contacts on behalf of the principal
- Run errands and complete personal and household-related tasks as needed
- Follow up on outstanding items and ensure tasks are completed from start to finish
- Manage scheduling, reminders, appointments, and general coordination as needed
- Help organize priorities, track tasks, and keep things moving efficiently
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Assist with travel-related needs and be available for domestic and international travel when required
- Use sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and initiative to complete tasks effectively
Required Qualities:
- Prior experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Family Office Assistant, or similar support role preferred
- Highly responsible, dependable, and professional
- Strong follow-through and ability to complete tasks without repeated reminders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to think critically, problem-solve, and make sound decisions
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable communicating on behalf of the principal
- Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information
- Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed
- Able to travel domestically and internationally as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ solid years of personal assistant / family office assistant experience in a private household.
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to travel
