Location: Yorktown Heights, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 11:30 AM–6:30 PM; some flexibility may be available, especially on Wednesdays. The family is seeking at least 35 hours of help per week. A schedule with slightly longer days on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and a shorter day on Wednesday may be considered.
Compensation: $40–$50 per hour, paid via W2 (on the books)
Benefits: 4 paid sick days and 2 weeks of paid vacation

A family in Yorktown Heights, NY is seeking a warm, organized, and dependable Family Assistant to support their household and children during the week. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is comfortable helping with household tasks, and can keep the afternoon routine running smoothly. There are two (2) dogs in the home.
Responsibilities:
- Handle family laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting items away.
- Let the dogs into the backyard and back into the house once or twice per day.
- Run errands as needed, including groceries, returns, and other household tasks.
- Assist with light household upkeep, including tidying children’s play areas, putting away dishes, and unloading the dishwasher.
- Transport children to and from school, afterschool programs, and activities.
- Assist with meal preparation as needed.
- Monitor and care for children when they are not in school or activities, such as sick days, school holidays, or the time between school dismissal and the end of the shift.
- Help keep the household organized and the afternoon routine on track.

Requirements:

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation.
